- Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate - Experience:
Will train Tasks - Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
- Load and unload goods
- Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform emergency roadside repairs
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Transport and handle dangerous goods Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- AZ class license Transportation/travel information
- Valid driver's licence
- Willing to travel cross-border Work conditions and physical capabilities
- Handling heavy loads
- Physically demanding
- Sitting Screening questions
