Shipper​/Receiver

IS2 Workforce Solutions is looking for Shipper/Receivers in Brampton!

As a Shipper/Receiver reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, your primary responsibilities include picking orders, loading and unloading products and materials from trucks.

Key Accountabilities:

• Pre-price products for customers.
• Track inventory and maintain pre-pricing items.
• Monitor pre-pricing quantities, escalating issues to the supervisor when necessary.
• Ensure correct handling and segregation of pre-priced inventory in the warehouse.

Storage and Order Processing:

• Place various products into designated storage areas.
• Utilize the scanning system for order picking and stage loads efficiently.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Perform cycle counts regularly.
• Operate Reach truck, Rider, Dock Stocker, Cherry Picker, and Walkie.
• Maintain valid licenses and experience in MHE operation.

Requirements:

• Communication Skills:
• Proficient in verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and organize in a dynamic environment.

Physical Ability:

• Capable of heavy lifting, up to and including 50 lbs.
• Practical testing required prior to commencement.
• Hand-eye coordination.
• Extended periods of standing.
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
• Promote a safe environment, adhering to outlined rules.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

• Fast-paced and physically demanding.
• Cold/refrigerated working conditions.
