Construction​/Field Surveyor

Quarry Hills Excavation & Gravel Ltd. is one of Westman’s most dynamic and fast-growing heavy civil contractors, specializing in excavation, sewer & water, and gravel services. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Construction/Field Surveyor for a full-time term position, with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled surveyor looking to gain valuable field experience on large-scale infrastructure projects while contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of project execution.

• Proficient in operating advanced surveying equipment and software.
• Strong understanding of surveying principles, layout, and data collection methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technological and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project priorities independently.
• Comfortable working both individually and as part of a larger team.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and file conversion workflows.
• Experience working with TIN surfaces and digital terrain models.
• Background in geomatics, surveying, or civil engineering technology (completed or in progress).
