Construction Operators

RFNOW Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our Construction Team in the Virden, MB area. Successful candidates will be involved in the day‑to‑day operations of preparing and installing fibre‑internet infrastructure.

• Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any repair issues or hazards immediately.
• Secure special attachments to equipment.
• Assist with general labor duties for fibre‑optic construction projects.
• Transport materials to and from the jobsite, including loading and unloading.
• Use proper tie‑down procedures to secure materials during transport.
• Ensure work activities are carried out safely and efficiently, complying with company PPE standards.
• Complete accurate paperwork daily, including site meeting minutes, driver logs, equipment inspection forms, and attendance tracking.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with heavy equipment for underground construction (Backhoes, excavators, track dozers, directional drills, hydrovac, semi/trailers, dump trailers) is a plus, but we will train suitable applicants.
• Must have a valid Class 1 or 3 driver licence.
• Experience with utility locates and work around existing utilities.
• Must be currently authorized to work in Canada.

• Monday – Friday (Summer) and Monday – Thursday (Winter).
