Customer Service Representative

Started in 1987 by a young entrepreneur with a single truck and trailer, Steve’s Livestock Transport has since grown to become the largest commercial livestock carrier in North America – and a leader in the transportation industry.

We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Logistics team in Blumenort, MB, Brandon, MB or Red Deer, AB.

Focused on providing industry leading sales and customer service and building relationships with customers, preparing proposals and pricing, and planning and coordinating movements. Knowledge and experience with biosecurity and agriculture will allow you to ensure high level customer satisfaction.

• Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with customers including making contact weekly
• Handle all customer inquiries, complaints, or compliments professionally and promptly
• Provide quotes to customers while working with management to ensure profitability of movement taking all costs into consideration
• Obtain customer bookings for movements including all load information required for paperwork and customs documents
• Price and rate loads

• 3-5 years of customer service or transportation industry experience is required
• Strong, well-developed customer service skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to details
• Strong decision-making, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience in the transportation industry is an asset
