Active practicing licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM), or eligible for active licensure with CLPNM.

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training.

Knowledge and ability to demonstrate clinical nursing skills and concepts in accordance with approved nursing standards; ability to make effective decisions regarding nursing care; strong problem solving, organizational, and independent working skills; ability to maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and clients; satisfactory employment record; strong verbal and written communication skills; valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver s License and access to a personal vehicle to provide service within Prairie Mountain Health;

one year of full-time equivalent experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in medical/surgical, outpatient care, long-term care, or Home Care within the last two years.

• Obtain and maintain relevant competencies for the position as offered by PMH.
• Practice in accordance with the Licensed Practical Nurses Act and the CLPNM Standards of Practice, CLPNM Code of Ethics, Scope of Practice Entry Level Competencies, provincial and federal legislation, and professional ethics.
