Retail Assistant

We're looking for a Retail Assistant who will be the face of our business, delivering exceptional customer service for Defence on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week. You will join a team that takes pride in what they do and in their people.

Shift patterns:
Variable shifts. This role is contracted to 50 weeks per year.

• Serving customers, ensuring they receive an easy and seamless personalised experience
• Being knowledgeable about our service and helping customers with natural, engaging service
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
• Handling cash and operating the cash register
• Complying with Health and Safety regulations

• Have a passion for delivering outstanding service, greeting customers with a smile and serving them with pride
• Take initiative and make decisions that are right for our customers
• Be an excellent team player with great communication skills
• Have a desire to succeed in your role
• Possess the ability to work under pressure
• Demonstrate great timekeeping and reliability
