Senior Cloud Engineer  – Open Stack

with proven experience in designing & implementing complex cloud infrastructures based on  Open Stack  & in managing automation through  Terraform  &  Ansible Kolla . The role involves working within structured project environments, covering all operational phases: detailed design, implementation, standardization, documentation & handover/testing with operational teams. Field: provider of  complex proprietary cloud platforms

Key Responsibilities
Develop  detailed designs  for  cloud solutions  aligned with  engineering architecture guidelines
Implement  cloud infrastructures  based on  Open Stack  & develop  automation  using  Ansible   Kolla  &  Terraform
Standardize  configurations, procedures & operational   processes
Prepare  technical documentation , including  operational guides ,  technical diagrams  &  standards
Conduct  testing  &  handover  activities to operational teams
Collaborate with  cross - functional  teams to ensure project success
Contribute to the  continuous improvement  of  cloud platforms

Requirements
5+  years of  experience  as a  Cloud Engineer
Background  as a  Systems Engineer , with strong expertise in  Linux systems  &  distributed infrastructures
In-depth knowledge of  Open Stack
Advanced experience with  Terraform  &  Kolla

Experience with  private cloud  or  proprietary CSP  environments
Advanced  troubleshooting  skills

Location:

completely  full remote  – Italy-based
