FANTASTIC SUPPORT WORKER OPPORTUNITY / BRIGEND**

I am recruiting for a number of CARING and PASSIONATE Support Workers to join 4-bed Residential Service for Adults with ASD, SEMH and complex needs. The service, which is set in rural Brigend, Gwynedd, supports 4 adults aged between 18 - 65.

Working under the leadership of the Manager, you will join a supportive and sociable staff team who put the service users at the heart of everything they do. The service is looking for candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support.

Salary: £25,550 - £25,850 + sleeps + Plenty of overtime available!

Hours:

Full Time Contract - 39 hours per week + approx 3 sleeps / month

Brigend (B32 postcode)

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for the following:

* Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.

* Ensuring the safety of the service users.

* Following care plans for each individual.

* Taking service users out into the community.

* Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening and day trips.

* Varying levels of personal care.

Requirements:

* Experience with PBS IDEAL

* Experience with Buccal IDEAL

* Ideally, communication difficulties such as PECS, Makaton etc IDEAL

* Experience working with adults with SEMH, anxiety and depression. IDEAL

* Drivers ESSENTIAL due to rural setting and need to transport people supported

* Candidates must be happy to do personal care. ESSENTIAL

* Candidates on a Visa must have a minimum of 1 year left on their Visa ESSENTIAL

* Candidates must be flexible to work all days/nights/bank holidays etc ESSENTIAL
