Your new role As Accounts Director, you will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the Bridgend office alongside fellow directors and partners. You will maintain and develop key client relationships, oversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts, tax returns, and management accounts, and provide strategic input on firm direction and growth opportunities. Additionally, you will mentor staff, ensure compliance with professional standards, drive business development activities, and contribute to financial performance monitoring and process improvements.
What you'll need to succeed

• ACA or ACCA qualification (CTA desirable but not essential)
• Experience at Senior Manager or Director level within a general practice or mid‑tier firm
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and mentor teams
• Excellent client relationship management and business development capabilities
• Knowledge of regulatory and professional standards (HMRC, ICAEW/ACCA)
• Strategic mindset with a focus on growth and operational efficiency
