Social Worker - Secure Estate, Parc Prison

Job Overview

37 hours per week
Fixed Term up to 12 months

We are looking for a qualified social worker for a full‑time position at HMP Parc, a Category B men's prison. The role is open for a 12‑month contract.

• Assessing, planning and delivering the social care needs to complex patients with a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.
• Providing assessments and reviews for residents in receipt of care and support.
• Attending multi‑agency meetings and contributing to multi‑professional working.
• Maintaining accurate record‑keeping and documentation.

• Successful completion of G4S/HMPPS vetting.
• Enhanced with Adults Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
• Ability to communicate in Welsh.
• A valid driving licence.
• Experience working within a prison or secure setting is desirable.
