Role OverviewAs an Accounts Apprentice you will support the finance team with basic bookkeeping, invoice processing and maintain accurate financial records. You will work with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and Quick Books while gaining hands‑on experience and completing relevant training.
Responsibilities- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accurate data entry and maintenance of up‑to‑date financial records.
- Support the accounts payable process by verifying invoices, processing payments and ensuring supplier information is accurately recorded.
- Utilise accounting software such as Xero, Sage, Quick Books and other relevant tools to manage and update financial information.
- Help prepare financial reports and support basic month‑end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial updates.
- Participate in ongoing training to build knowledge of core accounting principles, procedures and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with team members on various tasks and projects, contributing to a positive and supportive working environment.
- Genuine interest in a career in accounting or finance.
- Some familiarity with accounting software (Xero, Sage, Quick Books) is helpful but not required.
- Highly motivated with a commitment to accuracy, attention to detail and continuous professional development.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills to manage day‑to‑day tasks.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to work well with colleagues and clients.
- Proactive approach to learning and developing new skills within the finance team.

Job Types: Full‑time, Permanent
Pay: £15,311.40 – £16,000
Additional Pay: Bonus scheme, Performance bonus
