Position: Construction Engineer HVAC (f/h)
Technical Engineering Support (TES)
Technical Engineering Support (TES) is an engineering company created over 30 years ago, specializing in the coordination of tests and industrial commissioning
. TES also supports its customers in participating in studies and coordinating the assembly of industrial equipment.
As part of our activity, we have a position to fill as Construction Engineer HVAC (f/m).
Accountabilities:
Delegation of responsibilities to CE’s/Works Coordination Leads. Lead, manage and motivate the team through implementation of best practice.2. Ultimately accountable to deliver Discipline Specific Construction Work Pack scope of works to support the MEH construction activities3. Define boundary of scope of works4. Liaising with necessary SME’s and client counterparts5. Ensuring documents are compliant with latest works information and other MEH documentation6. Ensure documents are kept up-to-date and reviewed on a minimum 6 monthly basis7. Ownership and driving of deliverables from conception to A-Accepted status >90% first time accepted criteria8. Prioritisation and ownership of documentation to enable construction works as per the level 4 plan.
E.g. T-3 months accepted prior to works9. Support continuous improvement programmes to improve process/procedures10. Directly report to the Building Manager or nominated deputy.11. Provide and demonstrate a positive HSE leadership, building a strong and compliant HS&E culture throughout the whole construction life cycle of the Project.12. Ensure compliance with all nuclear safety and site licence requirements13. Review and feedback on suitability of level of resource to effectively run the support functionDeliverables :
Deliver Construction Workpacks to support the MEH Alliance programmeEnable the use of the Procon system to support the construction works and progress reporting of the MEH AllianceEnable the requesting and compliance of the MEH Alliance for the Work Authorisation and Permit systems operated by NNBEnable the co-ordination of safe access routing to workfaces to support the MEH Alliance construction worksEnable the topographical and other surveying required to support the MEH Alliance construction worksSpecify degree or other HVAC Trade qualifications supported by 5+ years’ proven experience
Relevant Professional Accreditation (PM, Construction, Engineering)
Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher)
CCNSG Safety Passport
IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH
Proven track record in nuclear power preferred
Proven track record of working in highly regulated industry sector preferred, e.g. Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Marine etc.
Experience working on major construction projects within all aspects of HVAC
Experienced in delivering and operating at Engineer or Senior Engineer level, including experience working within Joint Ventures
