Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to take full commercial responsibility on a major civil engineering project in Bridgwater? We are partnering with a market-leading subcontractor delivering complex civil infrastructure packages, seeking a Senior or Project QS ready to lead the commercial function on-site.
Role OverviewYou will manage all aspects of the commercial function, working closely with the project team to ensure budgets, valuations, procurement, and client communications are effectively delivered. This is a hands‑on role offering autonomy and scope to influence project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead commercial activities on site from pre-contract through to final account.
- Prepare and submit interim valuations, CVRs, cost reports, and final accounts.
- Manage subcontract procurement, negotiations, and relationships.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and profitability; report to project leadership.
- Administer contracts, manage variations, change control, and early warnings (NEC / JCT).
