Physiotherapist MSK Specialism Bridgwater Somerset £45,000 Annually
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist to join our innovative team at a prominent client site near Bridgwater, Somerset. Nestled within the exciting environment of the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station construction site, this position offers a unique setting filled with dynamic challenges and rewarding experiences. - Conduct accurate clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders
- Classify clinical musculoskeletal disorders based on their work‑relatedness
- Provide management with reports following assessments, including recommendations for employee’s fitness to work and any necessary role adjustments
- Lead rehabilitation‑focused exercise classes for employees with musculoskeletal injuries
- Communicate effectively with the broader occupational health team
- Conduct Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments and offer prophylactic advice
- Advise on necessary changes or equipment following DSE assessments
- Identify workplace hazards and assess the risk to musculoskeletal health
- Conduct ergonomic risk assessments alongside Safety Health & Environment advisors on site
- Advise on work practice or environment changes as needed
- Ensure effective rehabilitation of staff with musculoskeletal disorders
- Maintain comprehensive assessment and treatment records
- Gather statistical data for report generation and assist in health promotion events
- Mentor university students where opportunities present themselves
- Proficiency in conducting ergonomic and face‑to‑face assessments
- Expertise in DSE assessments
- Thorough knowledge of MSK conditions, injuries and treatment
- Adherence to patient confidentiality and understanding of GDPR
- Experience in working with a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy is required.
