Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues relating to networks, applications, software, hardware, VPNs, printers, and mobile phones.
  • Managing incident queues and handling calls with customers, including VIP user management.
  • Vendor management and responding in a timely fashion to reactive or proactive incidents.
  • Recording and documenting incident tickets; monitoring phones, e‑mail, and Microsoft Teams chat for incoming incidents.
  • Managing Win‑10 devices (MMD – Microsoft Managed Devices) and performing technical troubleshooting and issue resolution within the WIN‑10 operating system.
  • Antivirus management (Defender/McAfee) and device movement between desks or offices as required.
  • Unpacking and repackaging laptop/desktop delivery and applying shipping labels for device handover or collection.
  • Assisting with the creation of technical project documentation, reporting, and manuals.
  • Building and deploying workstations (laptops/desktops) with the standard approved image and providing tech‑bar support for user queries.
  • Hardware asset and CDM management, IT desk moves, patching, training/meeting room setup, loan laptop management, and retirement of IT kit.
  • Primary support for printers, including consumable replacement.
  • Active Directory group management, account unlocks, and password resets.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Knowledge of installing and configuring Starlink satellite network devices.
  • Experience configuring iPhone/iPad.
  • Creating or deleting IDs for joiners, leavers, and movers on the Azure portal.
  • Knowledge of creating new Microsoft Teams in the Teams admin portal.
  • L1 support knowledge of Application & SharePoint; L1 support troubleshooting office apps.
  • Effective communication skills and customer service experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self‑motivated with willingness to learn and multitask.
  • Time‑management skills and ability to work independently to resolution.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in defining corrective actions for tickets raised by users.
  • Understanding of virtualization and environment administration, Intune, and support for conference‑room devices.
  • Knowledge of managing cloud printing and asset inventory.
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Proficiency with ITSM tools, M365 applications, Active Directory, Entra , and user administration.
