• Ensure relevant information is passed on to the next shift.
• Ensure correct labels are printed for all machines used in production halls.
• Ensure correct data is recorded on relevant paperwork, production and quality sheets.
• Ensure correct instructions and settings are followed as per SOP regarding shrink‑wrapping machines.
• Keep work areas clean, free of obstructions and hazards.
• Issue correct pallets, cartons and boxes on all machines; store and deal with any damaged items correctly.
• Complete daily checklists as required and follow up on any issues that need attention.
• Assist production when needed, covering breaks, training, etc.
• Comply with all policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
• Abide by the company’s environmental and quality management procedures.
• Segregate materials to reduce waste and avoid cross‑contamination.
• Remove and dispose of waste using the most cost‑effective process.
• Carry out any reasonable duties within your abilities, regardless of grade/skill level.
• Weigh waste where requested.
• Fill in PPT inspection pads correctly.
• Correctly reject material and follow reject‑material procedures.
• Operate the granulating machines as required.
• Empty waste bins into the compacter as needed.
• Communicate in a timely manner with the warehouse to ensure all required stock for production is continually available.
