Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join an established engineering team in Taunton.

This role offers the chance to work on varied projects, developing innovative design solutions for complex mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Produce detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings.

* Work closely with project teams to develop robust design solutions.

* Contribute to the full product lifecycle, from concept through to manufacture.

* Ensure designs meet performance, safety, and cost requirements.

* Provide technical input to improve processes and support continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience:

* HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).

* Strong 3D CAD skills (Solid Works or similar).

* Previous design engineering experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

* Good understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing methods.

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
