We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established regional law firm for an experienced 'Private Client Lawyer' to join their newly expanded office in West Dorset. As part of a private client team that spans from apprentices and trainees to highly seasoned senior lawyers, you'll work alongside legal secretaries and paralegals who play a vital role in the firm's collaborative culture.

- Manage a broad caseload of private client matters with confidence and technical proficiency.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients.
- Contribute to business development and the strategic planning of the department.
- Collaborate with colleagues across different practice areas to share best practices.
- Work independently while also providing mentorship and support to junior members of the team.
- At least 5 years' PQE in private client law.
- Deep technical knowledge across a wide range of private client issues.
- Proactive, client‑focused mindset.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
- A genuine interest in business development and collaborative working.
