Engineering Manager

Location: Hove

We are recruiting an Engineering Manager for a well-established manufacturing and production business with two sites in Brighton & Hove. As the Engineering Manager you’ll report to the Head of Engineering to ensure the smooth running of all production, manufacturing and engineering operations, adhering to GMP and HSE standards and driving continuous improvement.

The Engineering Manager will be involved in:

* Ensuring premises, equipment and systems comply with Health & Safety regulations

* Collaboration with production to achieve output, productivity, and machine efficiency / maintenance goals

* Analysing equipment failures and implementing corrective and preventative measurements alongside the maintenance engineers

* Weekly reporting, communicating goals and achievements and motivating staff in a culture of continuous improvement

* Managing equipment and plant calibration / maintenance programmes, overseeing contractors & service providers where necessary

* Delivering capital projects around company assets

Skills & experience required:

* You’ll need a strong all-round engineering background gained within production or manufacturing environments

* Strong knowledge of GMP, HSE and Six Sigma or similar

* Experience delivering regulatory risk assessments

* Good all-round manufacturing, plant and facilities maintenance management experience

Salary, hours and company benefits:

* Circa £55,000

* 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
