Our client, a reputable commercial fit-out contractor, is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a fast-paced commercial fit-out project in Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manager with strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record delivering high-quality interior fit-out works.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works progress according to programme.

* Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour.

* Conduct regular site inspections for quality, health & safety, and compliance.

* Coordinate deliveries, site logistics, and sequencing of trades.

* Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, permits, and H&S documentation.

* Liaise with the client, project manager, and wider project team to ensure smooth delivery.

* Resolve site-based issues promptly and proactively.

* Ensure all works meet required standards and specifications.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects.

* Strong understanding of interior trades, sequencing, and fit-out methodology.

* Excellent communication and leadership skills.

* Ability to manage fast-track programmes effectively.

* Confident in enforcing site safety and quality standards.

* SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid essential.
