Regional Commercial Lead – Major Projects

We are looking for a Regional Commercial Lead – Major Projects to join our UK Water Business. This role offers an opportunity to play an important part in our Major Projects portfolio across the UK. The position can be based in any of our UK offices.

Overview

We are experiencing significant growth in our UK Water Major Projects business and we welcome a new lead to help sustain that growth. Our collaborative culture values your ideas and input to meet our commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a healthy, profitable and sustainable Major Projects business while managing risk and supporting growth.

• Oversee the commercial elements of bids and major standalone projects, developing competitive proposals with partner organisations to meet business objectives and deliver out performance.

• Work with Regional Directors, Major Projects Market Area Leads, other Regional Commercial Leads and the Senior Leadership Team to design and improve strong commercial strategies for sustainable growth.

• Build and maintain relationships with Client and Partner Commercial Leads, reviewing performance, spotting improvement opportunities, and escalating major project issues.

• Demonstrate visible Health & Safety leadership through active participation in leading indicator activities to protect stakeholders.

• Provide commercial leadership to the team, inspiring and motivating best practice in commercial & risk performance management.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree and experience as a Commercial Lead in professional services.

• Experience in a consultancy environment with regulated water sector design & Build, and NEC4 contract management practices.

• Strong commercial acumen, business analysis skills, and ability to interpret complex financial reports.

• Ability to work across seniority levels, take initiative, and deliver high quality service to internal and external clients.
