Senior Civil Engineer

What have an opening for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our clients lively Bristol office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-known civil engineering and development consultancy based in Bristol, working on a wide mix of infrastructure and development projects across the area.

You ll be joining a talented team of engineers, planners, and project managers to help clients get projects moving smoothly from early ideas through to delivery. As the Senior Engineer you ll be designing and supervising civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, and water systems, ensuring that projects meet environmental, safety, and structural standards, and coordinating with clients and other engineers for seamless project execution

What you need to succeed

• Minimum HND/C in Civil Engineering or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline desirable
• Chartered with ICE or equivalent body is desirable
• Must have experience of producing preliminary and detailed Highway design (s38 / s278 Highways Act)
• The ability to design Drainage (s104 / s98 Water Act) both strategic and detailed, foul pumping stations, SuDS, flow control structures and balancing facilities is essential
• Must have experience of designing Residential and Commercial external works design including earthworks assessments
• Experience of producing technical reports, assessments, statements, and fee proposals is required
• Experience in providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and technicians within the team is required
• Experience of managing and cultivating client relationships and coordinating with stakeholders is desired
• Strong understanding of design software such as AutoCAD and Micro Drainage (Info Drainage) is essential
