Part Time - 20/30hrs - Administration Assistant - Snapdragons Cribbs Causeway Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration Assistant to support the day‑to‑day operations of our Cribbs Causeway nursery. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining smooth administrative processes, ensuring compliance with nursery policies and regulatory requirements, and providing a warm, professional point of contact for families, visitors, and staff.

Day to Day
  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, families and external agencies, in person, by phone and via email
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records including attendance registers, staff rotas and children’s files
  • Assist and help the occupancy team with new joiners
  • Support the Nursery accounts team with funding and billing
  • Ensure confidential information is handled in accordance with data protection regulations (GDPR)
  • Contribute to the general upkeep of administrative areas, maintaining a welcoming and professional environment
  • Support the Nursery practitioners with administrative details
Requirements for the role
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and managing databases
  • An enhanced DBS subscribed to the update or willingness to apply.
  • Understanding of GDPR
  • Childcare experience (Desirable)
  • A willingness to undertake relevant further training as and when required
