Kerr's Tyres & Auto are a rapidly expanding business withing the Tyre & Automotive Industry. Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting for an experienced tyre fitter to join the team in Antrim. Job Type: Full time, permanent. In-person. Benefits:

Essential Criteria : 1 years experience fitting, balancing, and repairing tyres. Knowledge of tyre brands and specifications. Punctual, dependable, passionate and hard-working. Willingness to travel to cover other local centres if and when required. Desirable Criteria:
Experience carrying out wheel alignments. Basic mechanical knowledge, especially related to wheels, tyres, and suspension. A valid drivers licence.

Description:

Duties Include:

Check, remove, replace and repair worn and damaged or defective tyres. Repair punctures and ensure correct air pressures and levels in tyres. Carry out wheel balances, wheel alignment and tracking adjustments. Change filters, lubricating parts and perform basic road safety checks and basic car services Increase revenue through upselling to customers Loading and unloading tyres, deliveries and equipment Exceed customer care standards, service and satisfaction through excellent quality of work, advice and customer interaction.

Advise customers about keeping tyres and exhausts in good condition Communicate effectively with the Centre Manager and team Identify any issues with equipment and vehicles and report to the Centre Manager at the earliest opportunity Understand and adhere to Company policies, procedures and Health and Safety obligations to ensure a safe, secure and legal work environment Undertake any other reasonable duties as shall from time to time be required by the Company, Centre Manager or Assistant Manager within the competency of the role and post holder We are an Equal Opportunities Employer.
