Position: Workshop Vehicle Technician – Monday–Friday + Every Other Saturday – £35k–£40k

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday–Friday 8:00–18:00 | Every other Saturday 8:00–13:00

About the Role

We are seeking a Workshop Technician to join our busy team. This role is ideal for a Level 3 qualified technician with MOT experience (preferred), who is confident in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles. You will work with minimal supervision while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs to manufacturer and industry standards
  • Conduct MOT inspections (if qualified)
  • Work independently on repairs while meeting workshop deadlines
  • Use modern diagnostic equipment and tools to identify faults
  • Maintain accurate job cards and service records
  • Ensure a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to deliver exceptional customer service
About You
  • Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification (preferred)
  • MOT qualification preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in vehicle diagnosis and repair
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding skills
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
  • Professional, committed team player with attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence
