Frazer-Nash Consultancy is one of the established Defence, Engineering and Technology Consultancies in the UK, and we are pleased to be recruiting a new Market Group Manager covering our business activities in Cyber and Intelligence – a critical role in advancing our business.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Oversee business development efforts across key defence, engineering, and technology sectors, aligning with strategic objectives
  • Build and manage long‑term client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and first point of contact
  • Accountable for identifying, and mitigating commercial risks
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting of pipeline, performance, and market intelligence to senior leadership
  • Line Manager for a group of Business Managers on a day‑to‑day basis, providing functional leadership, coaching and mentoring
Essential Experience
  • Skillful in enhancing business development and boosting sales, ideally in the UK's Defence Nuclear Enterprise, but applicable to wider defence, engineering or technology sectors
  • Ability to engage with technical teams and translate complex offerings into compelling business value
  • Skillful communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Organised professional with a strategic mindset and a results‑driven attitude
Desirable Experience
  • Background in consulting would be advantageous
  • Existing network within defence primes, government agencies, or related industries
  • Experience with framework agreements and public sector bids
  • Degree in business, engineering, or a related field is beneficial
