Senior Building Surveyor

We're working with a multi‑disciplinary building consultancy with a long heritage and a reputation for delivering intelligent, creative solutions across a wide range of sectors - from residential and civic projects to workplace and education environments. You'll join a growing Bristol team with an exciting project pipeline, helping clients realise the full potential of their assets throughout the built environment.

The Role

A varied and technically rewarding position where you'll deliver a mixture of project and professional surveying work, including:

Commercial and residential refurbishment projects and contract administration

Technical due diligence and pre‑acquisition surveys

Dilapidations (landlord & tenant), schedules of condition and defect analysis

Building consultancy advice across a broad range of sectors including civic, community, workplace, transport and education

Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors within the Bristol office

Working closely with clients ranging from developers and funds to public sector and estates teams

You'll be part of a team that helps clients improve, maintain and enhance their properties - from early stage assessments to on‑site delivery and long‑term asset advice.

What You'll Need

Experience as a Building Surveyor within a consultancy

MRICS qualified (or equivalent senior‑level expertise)

Strong technical reporting skills and excellent attention to detail

Experience across both project and professional disciplines

Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload

Client‑facing confidence and strong communication skills
