Quantity Surveyor | Based in Newcastle | Paying up to £60,000 Your new company A leading organisation in the construction sector is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on full-build construction projects, contributing to the financial success and risk management of high-value schemes. Your new role You’ll be responsible for overseeing cost and risk management across projects, ensuring value for money while maintaining quality and compliance with contract conditions.

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you’ll assess financial viability, manage subcontractor relationships, and produce commercial reports to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and mitigate project costs and risks Ensure accurate financial reporting and control Collaborate with stakeholders to assess project viability Prepare commercial reports and CVRs Oversee procurement and subcontractor negotiations Manage applications for payment and site measurements What you'll need to succeed
