Shooting Producer​/Directors - Architecture Series

Job Details: SHOOTING PRODUCER/DIRECTORS - PREMIUM ARCHITECTURE SERIES

Plimsoll is looking for experienced SHOOTING PRODUCER/DIRECTORS to work on a new 8-part architectural series for a prominent streamer due for delivery in Autumn 2027.

The role will involve working closely with the show runner and series editor to develop your episode/s, feeding into overall development and scripting as well as taking them through the edit. You will be trusted to direct with limited oversight, often managing crews solo on location. This includes taking ownership of story beats on location, adapting to real-time developments, and ensuring overall editorial story beats / requirements are met.

Proven ability to create and manage realistic shooting schedules, ensuring smooth execution and strong editorial impact required.

You must have experience of working on large-scale premium shows (preferably for a major streamer), and the ability to direct and shoot to a high level cinematically. Proven experience managing contributor and talent relationships is essential, we are looking for someone who is able to build trust with contributors and will flag issues and story developments to the show runner – edit producing experience also desirable.

The successful candidate will be a confident self‑shooter plus have experience directing multi‑camera crews, whilst operating second camera when required.
