About

your team

The Digital Product Solutions team is at the centre of all change within Fidelity International’s online business. We work closely with those in Product and Propositions to ideate on what new or improved experiences we can offer to our users, team up with our business SMEs to ensure we deeply understand the problem and opportunity we are addressing, ensure the experiences we create are thoroughly validated through our in‑house user research team and collaborate with Technology to ensure these products are delivered in a scalable, efficient and iterative way.

About

your role

As a Senior UX Designer at Fidelity International, you will be responsible for leading and executing user experience design initiatives across multiple projects and platforms used by our diverse range of clients, from those accessing their pensions through their employer to consumers opening an ISA and investors helping their own clients reach their financial goals.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure the delivery of intuitive, engaging, and user‑centred designs that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX design, with a focus on financial services or a related industry. You will:

  • Lead the UX design process from concept to implementation, ensuring user‑centric solutions are delivered for our customers.
  • Work alongside the user‑research team to help conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs that effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and business goals.
  • Advocate for best practices in UX design and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and support to foster their professional growth.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in UX design to ensure our solutions remain cutting‑edge.
About you
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX design projects, particularly within the financial services sector.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Axure, Figma, or similar.
  • Excellent understanding of user‑centred design principles and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into intuitive designs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
