Active Care Group invites applications for a part-time Consultant Neuropsychiatrist post, with a special interest in Acquired/Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation. Applications from General Psychiatrists, Liaison Psychiatrists and other Consultant Psychiatrists with a specialist interest in Neuropsychiatry and/or Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation are welcome.

The post is based at the Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre (FBIRC), the Level 1 specialist inter-disciplinary neuro-rehabilitation centre serving the South West. The centre operates within a joint working arrangement between North Bristol NHS Trust and Active Care Group.

The site is part of the wider Active Care Group Neuro Network (consisting of 25+ sites) nationally and collaborates with local NHS services due to a joint working arrangement with North Bristol NHS Trust. We focus on the use of clinical expertise, innovation and technology to meet patients’ rehabilitation goals.
