Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Surgery and Urology

University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Senior Clinical Fellow (ST3+) in Paediatric Surgery and Urology. The role is for a 1‑year period starting 2nd April 2026 on the registrar rota.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide surgical care for children at the Children’s hospital, covering general, oncological, gastrointestinal surgery and urology.
• Assist in neonatal surgery at St Michael’s, collaborating with NICU neonatologists.
• Contribute to a non‑resident on‑call rota with eight other ST3+ trainees.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care and specialty development within a regional tertiary referral centre.

Qualifications & experience:

• Completed paediatric surgery training or equivalent clinical trainee level ST3 or higher.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
