Are you an Electrical Engineer with experience in commercial maintenance, seeking a hands‑on, field‑based role within a fast‑growing renewable energy company, offering progression to Senior Engineer, strong overtime potential to boost earnings, a company van for site travel, and access to specialised training to develop your skills further?
This UK‑based renewable energy specialist provides nationwide operation, maintenance and technical support for onshore wind turbines in the 200kW to 850kW range. Operating across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, the company delivers high‑quality O&M, performance optimisation, technical upgrades and asset support to maximise turbine availability and long‑term value.
In this role you will perform planned and reactive maintenance on onshore wind turbines across South West England and South Wales, service, inspect and fault‑find electrical and mechanical systems, replace components, complete accurate reports, and work safely at height while regularly travelling to remote sites. The role is Monday‑Friday, 8:30‑5, with significant overtime available.
The Role- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance on onshore wind turbines
- Servicing, inspection and electrical fault finding on turbine systems
- Repair and replacement of electrical components, including sensors, control systems and switch gear
- Supporting mechanical and hydraulic works where required
- Monday‑Friday 8:30‑5 + overtime
- Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ, apprenticeship, HNC/HND)
- Electrical maintenance experience, ideally in wind or heavy engineering
- Comfortable working at height and in all weather conditions
- Full UK driving licence
- Willing to travel across South West England, South Wales and occasional UK‑wide sites
