Electrical Field Service Engineer (Wind Turbines) £35,000 - £45,000  Company Benefits  Specialist Training Company Car  Fuel Card  Overtime Bristol - South West and South Wales patch Are you an Electrical Engineer ready to take on a field-based role in a growing renewable energy business, offering specialist training, overtime, and a company vehicle? This UK-based renewable energy specialist provides nationwide operation, maintenance, and technical support for onshore wind turbines in the 200kW to 850kW range.

Operating across England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, the company delivers high-quality O&M, performance optimisation, technical upgrades, and asset support to maximise turbine availability and long-term value. In this role, you will perform planned and reactive maintenance on onshore wind turbines across South West England and South Wales. You will service, inspect, and fault-find electrical, mechanical systems, replace components, complete accurate reports, and work safely at height while regularly travelling to remote sites.

The role is Monday-Friday, 8:30-5, with significant overtime available. This role would suit an electrically biased engineer with experience in renewable energy or heavy plant maintenance who is looking for a varied, field-based position within a growing wind energy business, looking to increase earnings through overtime.

The Role:

Planned and reactive electrical maintenance on onshore wind turbines Servicing, inspection, and electrical fault finding on turbine systems Repair and replacement of electrical components, including sensors, control systems, and switch gear Supporting mechanical and hydraulic works where required Monday-Friday 8:30-5  overtime

The Person :
Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ, apprenticeship, HNC/HND) Electrical maintenance experience, ideally in wind or heavy engineering Comfortable working at height and in all weather conditions Full UK driving licence Willing to travel across South West England, South Wales, and occasional UK-wide sites Reference: BBBH
