• Take an active role in the full development life cycle of PHY features, from initial design through to integration in an end-to-end system
• Implement product features in C++, producing highly efficient solutions
• Drive the system integration of new features, working with teams in the UK, Israel, and India
• Work within a well-equipped laboratory with state-of-the-art test tools – RF equipment, UE emulators, commercial UEs

• Strong C and/or C++ programming expertise, with emphasis on real-time, multi-threaded software
• Experience of PHY Layer or Layer 1 for wireless communication systems (4G LTE, 5G , Wi-Fi, or OFDM-based technologies)
• Understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) concepts
• Hands‑on experience in Linux environments, including multi-core, low-latency, and embedded systems
• Experience with SIMD programming and vectorization for performance optimisation is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with Matlab/Octave for algorithm design, prototyping, and verification is desirable

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, or related discipline
