Structural Engineer

A leading specialist engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Structural Engineer to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established practice delivering high-quality structural and civil engineering solutions across a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, refurbishment and specialist structures.
 
Responsibilities

Lead and deliver structural design work from concept through to construction
Produce calculations, technical reports and detailed design drawings
Work closely with architects, contractors and clients to develop coordinated solutions
Ensure all designs comply with relevant UK standards, regulations and best practice
Provide technical support, guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians
Candidate Profile

A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng/MEng or equivalent)
Chartered status (MIStruct

E/MICE) or be actively working towards it
Proven experience in structural design across multiple materials (steel, concrete, timber, masonry)
Strong knowledge of current UK design codes and standards
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving approach
