Contract role, Long‑term in Filton working at Airbus, the world leading aircraft manufacturer, join the Wing Plant Engineering Team and A400M programme! (Inside IR35, Hybrid 60% On‑site at Airbus Filton).

We are looking for an experienced Repair Design Engineer to lead and deliver structural repair solutions for in‑service aircraft. This is your chance to work on cutting‑edge aerospace projects and make a real impact on safety and reliability.

• Assess and resolve structural damage requests from global customers.
• Author and release Structural Repair Instructions for minor and major repairs.
• Provide expert technical support and innovative repair solutions.
• Liaise with customers and stakeholders to ensure timely, efficient service.
• Develop generic repair procedures to improve fleet performance.
• Engage with Design Organization to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

• Strong knowledge of aircraft structures (composites).
• Expertise in structural repair principles and materials.
• Familiarity with Airbus drawings/specifications and NDT methods.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  Airbus IT tools are a plus.
• Autonomous, organized, and a great team player with strong customer focus.
• RTE delegation and A400M experience is desirable.
