Salary

Up to £55,000, depending on experience/grade
Dynamic (hybrid) working
: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification

The Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Radiation Effects (RE) department is split between an on‑site test team and a project consultancy team that supports MBDA programmes throughout the full engineering lifecycle. This role will focus on design for EMC and RE, providing project teams with advice and guidance to meet EMC requirements, designing test plans, and creating bespoke electronic test solutions.
Essential- Higher education or significant experience in Electronics, Electrical, Physics, EMC or similar.
- Significant experience in Electronic Design, development and delivery.
- Experience leading significant electronic design work packages.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with SPICE simulation tools (LTspice, ORCAD).
- Ability to work to defined deadlines and within budget limits.
- Capability to work autonomously to meet delivery needs.
- Good understanding of EMC and design principles.
- Knowledge of military EMC standards (e.g., Defence Standard 59‑41/59‑411, AECTP
500, Mil‑Std‑461, RTCA DO160/EUROCAE ED‑14). - Previous experience delivering support on electromagnetic compatibility.
