Integrations System Verification Engineer (Naval Defence)

Copello is seeking a number of Systems Proving Engineers to support a leading defence partner within their Naval-Based Air Defence domain. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team working on high-profile integration, proving, and trials activities.

Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE)

Location: Bristol – up to 5 days on site with dynamic working (no set start and finish times, 37 hours within the week).

Clearance: British citizen or dual UK national. Security checks required.

Travel: Optional abroad travel with expensed weekly return or free time over the weekend. Some trips can be opted out of and flexibility offered.

• Planning, preparing and executing system trials across exciting naval defence projects both in Bristol and abroad (optional).
• Generating trials documentation and supporting Trials Readiness Reviews.
• Conducting data analysis and reporting following trials.
• Supporting and conducting a range of trials including laboratory integration, ground, harbour, sea and firing trials (UK and overseas).
• Ensuring accurate data capture and supporting resolution of design issues.
• Assisting with lab management activities, safety processes, and hardware/software configuration control.

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

• System integration, design proving or trials.
• Naval integration or missile systems testing.
• System assessment, acceptance, or design verification.
• Electrical/mechanical build and interfacing.
• Electronic design/test or network integration.
