Senior Civil Engineer

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will work within a dynamic team, to deliver the Civil Engineering design on a broad range of challenging projects across the water sector. These projects include new and replacement potable water mains, foul drainage, and both Sustainable Urban Drainage and conventional surface water drainage design.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of Civil Engineering design on various water sector projects
• Work within a dynamic team under the guidance of a Principal Engineer
• Engage in the design and implementation of new and replacement potable water mains and foul drainage systems
• Partake in both Sustainable Urban Drainage and conventional surface water drainage design
• Ensure adherence to statutory approval processes and regulatory requirements
• Manage project priorities and deadlines effectively
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals

Job Requirements

• Experience in the Water Industry
• Civil Engineering degree
• Willingness to work towards Professional Qualification with the Institution of Civil Engineers
• Proficiency in 3D design and modelling using software such as Micro Drainage and/or Info Drainage
• Understanding of Water Authority statutory approval processes
• Ability to manage concurrent projects, prioritising tasks and deliverables for effective delivery
• Capability to work using your own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach
