This Senior Civil Engineer role offers the chance to lead drainage and infrastructure design across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, while playing a key part in the continued growth of a well-established civil engineering team. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will enjoy autonomy, technical variety and a clear progression route.

The Opportunity

Based in Bristol, the Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for delivering highways and drainage designs from concept through to approval and construction. You will work closely with clients, local authorities and internal teams to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver highways and drainage designs including S38, S278, S104 and S185

Produce detailed designs, calculations and technical reports

Manage projects through planning and technical approval stages

Liaise directly with clients, local authorities and design teams

Support and mentor junior engineers and technicians

About You

Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar

Minimum 6 years UK consultancy experience

Strong background in drainage and infrastructure design

Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Info Drainage

Confident communicator with a hands-on approach
