Rullion is looking to grow our Site Engineering Team in our Bristol office. You will work collaboratively to deliver innovative and technical solutions to our client’s problems and construction team challenges involving the design aspect of civil structures.

The team is an integrated group of civil engineers, BIM coordinators, and draftsmen working on the most complicated RC structures of Nuclear Island buildings in the Hinkley Point C project. You will collaborate with senior engineers, chief draftsmen, and the drafting team to respond to construction team requests on the design package released by the design back office in France.
Main responsibilities- Modify reinforced concrete or steel structure designs compliant with the ETC‑C or other relevant codes (Eurocodes) and project methodology.
- Check and coordinate detailing activities with CAD designers or other engineers in preparation of 3D BIM rebar model and/or 2D drawings of reinforced concrete or steel structures.
- Manage engineering changes in line with company/project procedures and QA process.
- Assess and respond to Field Changes Requests, Field Information Requests or Site Non‑Conformance from civil works contractors.
- Liaise with other stakeholders of the site engineering team or construction team for clarification on site requests.
- Communicate with the Back Office in France, Poland, Romania and Tunisia for clarification on design packages or to close out design package issues.
- Provide technical review and acceptance of contractor deliverables including site walk‑downs and inspections.
- Degree‑qualified Civil Engineer.
- 4–5 years of experience.
- Working knowledge of the detailed design phases and how this is transitioned to the construction phase.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry and with Eurocodes and BS.
- Experience with reinforced concrete and steel structures.
- Desirable:
Chartered Engineer. - Right to work in the UK – candidates on visa sponsorship must already have this in place.
- Eligible to obtain BPSS clearance.
