I am working with an RCT based manufacturing business who are looking to add a product designer to the team. Now part of a larger group and experiencing significant growth — including recent major public-sector contract wins — the business is investing heavily in new product development and expanding its in-house design capability. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of innovative, safety‑critical products that support frontline teams in demanding environments.

• Assist in the design and development of inflatable safety and rescue products
• Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings
• Support prototype development and testing activities
• Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility
• Conduct basic engineering calculations and material assessments
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to problem‑solving discussions

• Diploma or degree qualified in engineering or product design
• 2+ years experience working in a design role
• Experience working with Autocad and Solidedge
