About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Robotics Technician to join a cutting-edge team focused on robotics research and development. In this role, you’ll ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimisation of a robotics fleet and AI data-collection systems. Your work will directly support high-quality dataset generation for machine learning and robotics experimentation.

What We’re Looking For

* Degree in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

* Hands-on experience operating robotic systems or automated hardware setups.

* Familiarity with data-collection workflows for machine learning or robotics.

* Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and Linux environments.

* Basic programming skills in Python or C++ (preferred).

* Strong organisational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain continuous uptime of robotic systems and AI data-collection platforms through proactive monitoring and rapid issue resolution.

* Configure and calibrate robotic systems for data-collection runs, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

* Support data-collection experiments alongside engineers and researchers.

* Manage dataset collection, verification, labelling, and organised storage for machine learning workflows.

* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to minimise downtime.

* Maintain accurate records of equipment status and system performance.

* Implement best practices for safety, efficiency, and standardisation.

* Schedule and prioritise resources to optimise experiment throughput
