Engineering Business Manager

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Engineering Business Manager on an initial 10-month contract. As the Engineering Business Manager, you will be supporting the engineering team and help shape the future of our Business Operations. Role:
Engineering Business Manager Pay: £39 per hour via Umbrella

Inside Security Clearance : BPSS Responsibilities Assuring that business and project management processes are followed within your engineering programme team. Building and maintaining robust integrated plans with all stakeholders involved. Maintaining a credible resource and financial plan. Promoting a mindset of anticipation to identify and act on potential risks, opportunities and workload evolution. Assuring that internal resourcing and external engineering service supplier activities are launched in line with the plan and managed in accordance with Airbus policy and processes.

Proactively managing the collation & reporting of key performance indicators to ensure that the 1YL business management data is readily available for effective performance management. Providing guidance and mentoring to our engineering community on business and project management. Supporting 1YL with the implementation of Business / Project Management best practices and enabling a culture of continuous improvement. Essential

Skills:

Experienced in Business Management and/or Project Management. Customer focused and able to engage, inspire and manage multiple stakeholders with enthusiasm and energy. Ability to be flexible, pragmatic and have an analytical style of working whilst still having good attention to detail. Curious and innovative with a willingness to challenge the norm and learn / continuously improve. Managing offload suppliers.
