Senior Mechanical Engineer Bridgend | Permanent | Up to £65,000 per annum DOE About the Role Bridgestone Group are pleased to be working with a leading manufacturer based in South Wales who are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will lead maintenance activities, drive continuous improvement, and act as the primary escalation point for technical issues

Key Responsibilities Oversee maintenance activities and ensure asset health Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimise downtime Contribute to process optimisation and proactive maintenance routines Liaise with cross-functional teams to integrate predictive maintenance insights Troubleshoot complex engineering issues and lead root cause analysis Promote compliance with QHSE policies and standards Coach and mentor technicians to build a proactive maintenance culture Shift Pattern;
Day Shift, Monday to Friday
