Senior Town Planner - Bristol

Location:

Bristol (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £45,000 - £52000 (DOE) + excellent benefits

Are you an experienced Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career with one of the UK's leading consultancies? I'm working with a nationally recognised planning and infrastructure firm that's seeking a Senior Town Planner to join their established Bristol office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-profile projects across the infrastructure, energy, residential, and commercial sectors. The team is known for delivering innovative, sustainable solutions to complex planning challenges - and they're growing.

The Role:

As a Senior Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in managing planning applications, providing strategic advice to clients, and leading multi-disciplinary teams. You'll work on projects from conception through to consent, liaising with stakeholders, local authorities, and clients to ensure the smooth delivery of schemes.

What You'll Be Doing:

Managing and preparing planning applications, appeals, and development appraisals

Advising clients on planning policy and strategy

Supporting junior members of the team and contributing to business development

Working collaboratively with other professionals across planning, design, and engineering

About You:

RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or related discipline

Chartered Member of the RTPI (or working towards)

Proven experience within a consultancy or local authority setting

Excellent knowledge of UK planning policy and legislation

Strong report writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
