Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a water treatment project in Bristol. This is a contract role with an expected duration of 8 months.
Responsibilities- Setting out, surveying, and dimensional control for site works
- Managing day-to-day engineering duties on site
- Maintaining quality control procedures and ensuring compliance with project specifications
- Producing as-built surveys and records
- Liaising with the project team, subcontractors, and client representatives
- Supporting Health & Safety best practice on site
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering projects (water treatment or utilities experience desirable)
- Proficiency with setting out equipment (e.g., Leica/Trimble)
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and site documentation
- CSCS card essential
- SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid (preferred)
