Ashton Gate Stadium is a unique sports and entertainment business, supporting the sustainability of Stephen Lansdown’s group of sporting companies, which includes Bristol Sport, Bristol City, Bristol Bears, Bristol Flyers Basketball, and their respective community charities.

As an Events Manager at Ashton Gate Stadium, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional event experiences for our guests. Through outstanding service, attention to detail, and operational excellence, you will ensure that every customer feels special during our non‑match day activities.

• Event Planning & Coordination:
  Collaborate with clients and internal teams to plan and execute events at the stadium; develop comprehensive event timelines, layouts, and staffing plans; coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for event setup, AV, security, catering, and logistics.
• On‑Site Event Management:
  Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown, ensuring compliance with stadium policies; serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and staff during the event; ensure the stadium facilities are ready and prepared for each event; conduct post‑event evaluations, gathering attendee feedback and assessing performance metrics.
• Staff Management:
  Lead and supervise event day staff, including catering and security teams; ensure staff are well‑trained and coordinated to deliver outstanding guest experiences; support the recruitment of casual staff as needed.

• Effective event planning and coordination.
• Leadership and management of the junior team.
• Seamless on‑site event management, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

• 2+ years of experience in event management, preferably in large venues or stadium settings.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in event management software and tools.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as per event schedules.

• Qualifications in Events Management.
• NVQ in Customer Service.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days. Due to the nature of events, this will include evenings and weekends.

Salary: £30,000 per annum
